If you are interested in the prophecy that brought you here, you might also be interested in the rest of it. All of the entries in this blog are related to the prophecy of the Old Testament and from other cultures, and how they have affected our lives for thousands of years. Another issue covered is the likelihood of the realization of the complete fulfillment of the prophecy.

Crazy Horse Not So Crazy

Crazy Horse (Lakota: Thašųka Witko, literally "His-Horse-is-Crazy")

“Crazy Horse's vision foretold the darkness that descended on his people. He saw the coming of automobiles and airplanes and the tragic world wars of the modern era. He saw his people gradually awakening after the last war and beginning to dance again under the Sacred Tree. Then amazingly he saw that dancing along with his people were representatives of all races who had become brothers. Thus he foresaw that the world would be made whole again, not just by his own nation but by all peoples working together.” - Bette Stockbauer
http://bci.org/prophecy-fulfilled/ancient.htm

The Teton Sioux Chief Crazy Horse had a final vision in which "He saw his people being driven into spiritual darkness and poverty while the white people prospered in a material way all around them. But even in the darkest times, he saw that the eyes of a few of his people kept the light of dawn and the wisdom of the earth, which they passed on to some of their grandchildren. He saw the coming of automobiles and airplanes, and twice he saw the great darkness and heard the screams and explosions when millions of people died in two great world wars.

"But he saw, after the second great war passed, a time come when his people began to awaken, not all at once, but a few here and there, and then more and more, and he saw that they were dancing in a beautiful light of the Spirit World under the Sacred Tree even while still on Earth. Then he was amazed to see that dancing under the tree were representatives of all races who had become brothers, and he realized that the world would be made new again and in peace and harmony not just by his people, but by members of all races of mankind." - Vinson Brown, Voices of Earth and Sky; 1974, Harrisburg, PA

Crazy Horse had a vision he shared with sitting bull during a pipe ceremony just days before he was murdered. He said, "Upon suffering beyond suffering, the red nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for the sick world. A world filed with broken promises, selfishness and separations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of seven generations, when all the colors of mankind will gather under the sacred tree of life and the whole earth will become one circle again. In that day, those among the Lakota who will carry knowledge and understanding of unity among all living things, and the young white ones will come, to those of my people to ask for wisdom. I salute the light within their eyes where the whole universe dwells, for when you are at the center within you and I am at the at place within me, we are as one." - Crazy Horse from James Medicine Tree

“I see a time of seven generations, when all the colors of mankind will gather under the sacred tree of life and the whole earth will become one circle again.”

He died in 1877. If we use 18 years as the number to represent one generation, we can conclude that Crazy Horse named the year 2003 as the year that people would gather. We all know what happened that year. With the help of Crazy Horse’s prophecy, maybe more people will realize that is the year the “last war” began.

Sun of God Prophecy

Among the greatest mysteries found on the American Continents are petroglyphs of the sun. The sun is depicted in ancient rock art with lines emanating from a circular object, which clearly represents the sun, complete with solar flares. The mystery is about how the ancient people of the Americas knew about solar flares. You can’t detect solar flares or coronal mass ejections with the naked eye. “Modern man” didn’t know solar flares until 1859, so how did ancient people of the Americas know about them? Why did they include solar flares in their depictions of the sun in their petroglyphs?

The sun shows up in ancient prophecies of various Native Americans, handed down by word of mouth from generation to generation. The following is part of an Incan prophecy, delivered in 1990.

“For the past five centuries they preserved their sacred knowledge, and finally, in recent years, the signs were fulfilled that the great time of change was at hand: the high mountain lagoons have dried, the condor is nearly extinct and the discovery of the Golden Temple has occurred, following the earthquake in 1949 which represented the wrath of the sun.”

“The prophecies are optimistic. They refer to the end of time as we know it -- the death of a way of thinking and a way of being, the end of a way of relating to nature and to the earth. In the coming years, the Incas expect us to emerge into a golden age, a golden millennium of peace.

The prophecies also speak of tumultuous changes happening in the earth, and in our psyche, redefining our relationships and spirituality. The next pachacuti, or great change, has already begun, and it promises the emergence of a new human after this period of turmoil. The chaos and upheaval characteristic of this period will last another four years, according to the Q'ero.”

“The paradigm of European civilization will continue to collapse, and the way of the Earth people will return. Even more importantly, the shamanic elders speak about a tear in the fabric of time itself.” - Peruvian Spiritual Messenger Willaru

It would be lovely if we could just go around singing “It’s the dawning of the age of Aquarius, the age of Aquarius,” and simply wait for the changes to take place. But it’s not like that. Those who make it through the changes will indeed be a “new order of humanity,” but there will be a price to pay. That’s because the prophecies tell us about things like earthquakes, famine, disease, and wars. Walking around with good intentions and singing won’t get you through the period described. Food, water, shelter, an air supply, and separation from idiots will be required for your survival. According to the prophecy just quoted, four years worth of upheavals is what is expected. It’s going to be difficult to grow food and breath during that period of time.

The Inca also indicate that they know something else about the upheavals that they predicted. They relate earthquakes to the “wrath of the sun.” Modern scientists don’t even know about that yet, even though they currently have the data available to make the analogy. It’s known that the two major quakes of 2004 and 2005 were preceded by coronal mass ejections, and it is also known that the coronal mass ejection of 1859 was followed by a string of earthquakes, some of them major. Yet they haven’t made the connection yet. The connection is made in the prophecies of the Old Testament as well, and everyone who uses the Bible as the basis of their religion also ignores them. For example, the Christian leaders say that this line is talking about how bright the church will shine: “Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.” – Isaiah 30:26 KJV

That line is clearly talking about the sun’s brightness, and is relating it to the time when people are healed of their ignorance. Christian leaders relate it to the church because the sun didn’t get brighter when Jesus came, so they had to make up something to account for it. We have known since 1859 that massive solar flares cause the sun to get brighter, and we also know that coronal mass ejections from the sun are capable of destroying electrical devices on earth, including the generators that fee those electrical devices. When that line in Isaiah happens, we are going to see a world wide black out, followed by earthquakes and volcanic activity that is not currently imaginable. It’s supposed to get so bad that the sun will be darkened, and we won’t be able to see the moon. “For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.” Isaiah 13:10 KJV

The only thing that could cause us to not see the stars would be smoke. That smoke is also going to make it quite difficult to breath, unless you have your own private source of oxygen. If the Inca are correct, you are going to need a four-year supply of oxygen, food, and water to get you through the destruction. Since the Inca were informed enough to know about the sun’s influence on the earth, it’s a safe bet that are also correct about the length of time as well. The also knew about something else that we should be aware of. They mentioned that there would be a tear in the fabric of time. That is not hard to figure out either, if you understand that time is related to our orbit around the sun. It stands to reason that if the earth is hit by a massive amount of energy from the sun, that our orbit might be altered a bit. If that happens, then we will indeed witness a “tear in the fabric of time,” which also explains the Biblical prophecy of the “end of years.” If our orbit changes, then our calendars will have to reflect that change. It will be the “end of time” to us, because we will have to develop a new calendar.

The Mayans also knew about the sun’s relationship to the end of this era, as shown in this excerpt. “When the original thirteen baktuns were created, a war was waged which caused the country to cease to exist. Little by little, however, our enemies came to hear the prophesies of Ahau; but finally even the hope of hearing Ahau is brought to an end, because of the words of opposition. When the need arises for the high authority at the head of the mat to safeguard our children, then we will feel deeply the tragedy of being captives in war; also when we are ordered to obey...And when over the dark sea I shall be lifted by a chalice of fire, to that generation there will come the day of withered fruit...The face of the sun will be extinguished because of the great tempest. Then finally ornaments shall descend in heaps. There will be good gifts for one and all, as well as land, from the Great Spirit wherever shall come sailing, figuratively speaking, bringing the ornaments of which I have spoken, from your ancestors. Then the god will come to visit his little ones.” - The Book of Chilam Balam of Tizimin

Quite a lot of people will die because of their arrogance, when the these prophecies materialize. Christians will get their wish, and end up in Heaven, only they won’t realize it because they will no longer have a brain to think with. That’s because we think with our physical brain, and physical bodies don’t go to Heaven. The belief that they do was made up by the early Christian leaders and is not supported by any writing found in the book that they base their religion on. Nor is that belief supported by any kind of rational reasoning. It’s a made up lie that will prevent a lot of people from preparing for the events that are predicted to happen. Instead of preparing for their own survival, they will instead wait for a miraculous being that will never show up, which is another made up belief.

Another large group of people who will die during that time are the Jewish people, who will try to hold fast to their belief that they are the “Chosen Ones,” who will be protected by God. Their belief is based on their arrogance as well. Like their younger siblings, the Christians, they will do nothing to prepare for their own survival because of their belief that they are somehow superior to the rest of humanity. They really believe that God will protect them because of their superiority.

Yet another group that will surely die are the New Age religions that promote prayer as a fix all for everything. Instead of preparing for their survival, they are trying to make our problems go away with their unified prayer. It’s their belief that if enough people gang up on God with their prayers that God will decide not to destroy life on earth. What they don’t realize is that God isn’t going to destroy earth. God is merely warning us that natural disasters are going to make it extremely difficult to survive on earth for a little while.

Muslims that think Allah somehow protects them are in the same boat as the three groups just mentioned. They are actually in more trouble, because their prophet didn’t mention anything about living through a time of destruction. They have convinced their selves that there is another world that they get to go live in, much like Christians view of Heaven. It’s their arrogance that will bring about their own demise as well. Like Christians, Jews, and New Agers, they believe that they are the “right religion,” and should therefore be protected from harm by God.

The thing that they all are missing is that God is protecting us by telling us what to expect. The rest is up to us. If we are so stupid that we refuse to do anything for ourselves, then we will eliminate our genes from the future generations of people that will inhabit our planet. You can look at it as stupidity eliminating itself from the midst of humanity.

You can research the prophecies of the world that speak of the “end of time,” and you will begin to realize that all of the prophecies mention the same things. You can gain insight about the “signs of the time,” regarding when to expect the associated destruction. Quite a lot of people who have done so realize that we are rapidly approaching the said time. What you won’t find in any of the prophecies are the details for your survival. Instead, you will find descriptions of what you can expect, and as pointed out in this explanation, one of the things you will uncover includes an extended period of life without light. Even if you are intelligent enough to provide a shelter stocked with food and water that will sustain you for a few years, you won’t have a chance of survival because of the smoke and dust that will be in the air as a result of fires and volcanic eruptions. Your only real hope of survival will be to find a source of oxygen that will sustain itself, and then isolate yourself from the elements and from people that didn’t prepare for their own survival.

Atlantis Again?

“The Legend of the Keetoowah, as recalled in 1930 by Levi B. Gritts, a prominent member of the traditionalist Keetoowah Society, places them on islands in the Atlantic Ocean east of South America. Anthropologists have discovered that Cherokee basket and pottery styles resemble those of South American and Caribbean tribes, differing from other tribes of the southeast U.S.”

“Seventy tribes attacked them but, by the guidance of God, they were victorious. The last warrior of their attackers, Ner-du-er-gi, was on top of a mountain overlooking their camp in the deep valley below. This warrior saw a smoke arising from the camp which "extended up beyond Heaven". The smoke was divided into three parts and in that there was an eagle holding arrows. When the warrior and his followers saw this, he ordered them not to attack the Indians for they were God's people and powerful and if they attacked they would be destroyed.”

“When God created these people he gave them great, mysterious power to be used for the best interests of the people. They lived in large cities with tall buildings. Some wise men began to use their power different than was intended which troubled the people. God instructed them to take their white fire and move away from that place. Some went to Asia, some to India, and others to North America leaving the wise men behind. After they had gone to other countries, these large cities were destroyed when the ground sank and are now under the ocean. God turned to the people that came to America and gave them wisdom and guided them.” - Ken Martin, Tsalagi historian, tribal member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma

“The following legend of the KEETOOWAH people, which dates back to the beginning of time, has been passed orally by each generation. Upon the creation of the KEETOOWAH people, the Creator gave them mysterious powers and placed them in large settlement on an island located in the Atlantic Ocean. There were other tribes on the island which attacked the KEETOOWAH people, and the KEETOOWAHS were victorious. Another tribe watched the fierce fighting from a mountain top. The leader of the tribe watched the valley ascend toward the Heaven. The smoke divided into three paths midway in the ascension an eagle was seen holding three arrows in its claws. The leader asked his warriors if the smoke and eagle were visible to them and they replied they were. The tribal leader then told his warriors not to attack the KEETOOWAH people because they were the Creators people and they were very powerful. The tribe came down from the mountain and made friends with the KEETOOWAH people. In later years, some of the medicine men of the tribe became selfish and used their powers to harm their own people. The Creator gave the powers to the medicine men to be used in the best interest of all the people. Other tribal members prayed to the Creator for direction and the Creator heard their prayers. The instruction was to move their fire away from the island and the medicine men. After the departure, the island sank into the ocean.” - Chief John Ross, 1790-1866, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation 1828-1866

“There was heard a great noise above their heads, as if produced by fire. Then were men seen running, pushing each other, filled with despair; they wished to climb upon their houses, and the houses, tumbling down, fell to the ground; they wished to climb upon the trees, and the trees shook them off; they wished to enter into the grottoes (eaves), and the grottoes closed themselves before them. . . Water and fire contributed to the universal ruin at the time of the last great cataclysm which preceded the fourth creation." - The Mayan "Popol Vuh"

“Let me begin by observing first of all, that nine thousand was the sum of years which had elapsed since the war which was said to have taken place between those who dwelt outside the Pillars of Heracles and all who dwelt within them; this war I am going to describe. Of the combatants on the one side, the city of Athens was reported to have been the leader and to have fought out the war; the combatants on the other side were commanded by the kings of Atlantis, which, as was saying, was an island greater in extent than Libya and Asia, and when afterwards sunk by an earthquake, became an impassable barrier of mud to voyagers sailing from hence to any part of the ocean. The
progress of the history will unfold the various nations of barbarians and families of Hellenes which then existed, as they successively appear on the scene; but I must describe first of all Athenians of that day, and their enemies who fought with them, and then the respective powers and governments of the two kingdoms. Let us give the precedence to Athens.” – CRITIAS by Plato, 360 BC
translated by Benjamin Jowett, New York, C. Scribner's Sons, [1871]

“Many great and wonderful deeds are recorded of your state in our histories. But one of them exceeds all the rest in greatness and valour. For these histories tell of a mighty power which unprovoked made an expedition against the whole of Europe and Asia, and to which your city put an end. This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean, for in those days the Atlantic was navigable; and there was an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles; the island was larger than Libya and Asia put together, and was the way to other islands, and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent which surrounded the true ocean; for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles is only a harbour, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent. Now in this island of Atlantis there was a great and wonderful empire which had rule over the whole island and several others, and over parts of the continent, and, furthermore, the men of Atlantis had subjected the parts of Libya within the columns of Heracles as far as Egypt, and of Europe as far as Tyrrhenia. This vast power, gathered into one, endeavoured to subdue at a blow our country and yours and the whole of the region within the straits; and then, Solon, your country shone forth, in the excellence of her virtue and strength, among all mankind. She was pre-eminent in courage and military skill, and was the leader of the Hellenes. And when the rest fell off from her, being compelled to stand alone, after having undergone the very extremity of danger, she defeated and triumphed over the invaders, and preserved from slavery those who were not yet subjugated, and generously liberated all the rest of us who dwell within the pillars. But afterwards there occurred violent earthquakes and floods; and in a single day and night of misfortune all your warlike men in a body sank into the earth, and the island of Atlantis in like manner disappeared in the depths of the sea. For which reason the sea in those parts is impassable and impenetrable, because there is a shoal of mud in the way; and this was caused by the subsidence of the island.” – TIMAEUS by Plato, 360 BC
translated by Benjamin Jowett, New York, C. Scribner's Sons, [1871]

“Not knowing what to do, the people stopped paddling, opened the doors on top of their heads, and let themselves be guided. Almost immediately the water smoothed out, and they felt their rafts caught up in a gentle current. Before long they landed and joyfully jumped out upon a sandy shore. "The Fourth World!" they cried. "We have reached our place of emergence at last!"

“Soon all the others arrived and when they were gathered together, Sótuknang appeared before them. "Well, I see you are all here. This is good. This is the place I have prepared for you. Look now at the way you have come."

“Looking to the west and south, the people could see sticking out of the water the islands upon which they had rested.”

"They are the footprints of your journey," continued Sótuknang, "the tops of the high mountains of the Third World, which I destroyed. Now watch."

“As the people watched them, the closest one sank under the water, then the next, until all were gone, and they could see only water.”

"See," said Sótuknang, "I have washed away even the footprints of your emergence, the stepping-stones which I left for you. Down on the bottom of the sea lie all the proud cities, the flying pátuwvotas, and the worldly treasures corrupted with evil, and those people who found no time to sing praises to the Creator from the tops of their hills. But the day will come, if you preserve the memory and meaning of your emergence, when these stepping stones will emerge again to prove the truth you speak." – A Hopi Legend

Those are all stories of a major destructive event that happened so long ago that few people believe the stories as real. This story isn’t about whether or not it really happened. Who knows if it really happened? As the Hopi legend says, all evidence of it got buried at sea. The Old Testament speaks of a similar event, which we commonly call Noah’s Flood. There is no evidence of it either. Those stories do support the legend of some culture that was totally destroyed by the sea. We know for sure that the oceans of our world were substantially lower than they currently are.
Quite a lot of water was stored in glaciers around the world during the last great ice age. It’s hard to imagine an entire continent getting swallowed up by the ocean, but it could have happened. In fact, according to the legends, it happened in both the Pacific and the Atlantic oceans.

This is a chart of the earth’s average temperature, and snow accumulation for the last 20 thousand years. Scientists who were studying an ice core from the Greenland glacier determined it. It clearly shows us that Plato’s date of 11,500 years ago for the rising of the sea levels was very close to reality. A similar event occurred 3,000 years before that. Both events happened in a matter of a few years. The “sinking event” can easily be explained by looking at the “Snow Accumulation,” which is also an indication of the amount of rain that fell during the last major warming period. It rained like crazy, as described in the story of Noah. That and the melting glaciers brought the ocean levels up quite rapidly, as the next graph shows.

“Compilation of Vostok and EPICA Dome C CO2 concentrations (Petit et al., 1999; Siegenthaler et al., 2005) and δD as a proxy for local air temperature (Petit et al., 1999; EPICA community members 2004) and the changes in global sea level relative to the present level (Bintanja et al., 2005). To a first approximation, sea level changes reflect the volume of ocean water bound in continental ice sheets during the ice ages. CO2 minima were reached approximately when the sea level was at a minimum, hence, the extent of the continental ice sheets were at a maximum. Vice versa, highest CO2 levels were found during interglacials during the high stands of the sea level. The evolution of the local temperature (as deduced from δD) follows this overall picture and points to a strong coupling of the climate and the carbon cycle.” - The Alfred Wegener Institute
That chart shows that the ocean levels around the world began to rise quite dramatically at the end of the last ice age. The earth had been quite a bit cooler, and for some reason, it warmed rather quickly, melting most of the glaciers around the world. The next chart shows what causes the warming.

The bottom graph shows the dust that was in the air, the middle graph shows the CO2 that was present, and the top graph shows the temperature. You can easily see that dust and CO2 go hand in hand to create the warm climates. At some “critical temperature,” something happens, and the temperature of our planet plummets. Our scientific community is still debating what that “something” is. They know that it has to do with the ocean currents, which are caused by the heat of the tropics and the cold of the poles. They also know that as we lose the Arctic ice cover, that we lose a giant solar reflector. When we lose that “reflector,” we also lose the ocean currents, because the Arctic Ocean absorbs more heat from the sun. The result is that that the oceans basically die.

"This is the Seventh Sign: You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it." – White Feather, Hopi Bear Clan, 1958

There’s a common expression that people like to use when you mention anything to do with destruction that might happen. “It won’t happen in my life time.” The reason for that expression is also shown in those graphs. Our planet has enjoyed quite a long period of paradise. Our environment has been quite stable since the last warming period. You can see in that chart what just a little dip in the average temperature of our planet causes. We call it the “Little Ice Age.” You can also see that our planet’s temperature is quite capable of dropping a lot more than it did then. Something else you can see is why there is a “promise from God” that the world wouldn’t be destroyed again by water. That’s an easy promise to make, because it happens when most of the water of the oceans is locked up in ice.

Just last week, a team of scientists announced that the Arctic Ice will be gone during the summer months by the year 2012. We can easily predict then, that those who think “it won’t happen in my life time” are either going to die in the next five years, or they are simply wrong.

"The Arctic is screaming," said Mark Serreze, senior scientist at the government's snow and ice data center in Boulder, Colo.

"At this rate, the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free at the end of summer by 2012, much faster than previous predictions." - Jay Zwally, NASA climate scientist

"The Arctic is often cited as the canary in the coal mine for climate warming," said Zwally, who as a teenager hauled coal. "Now as a sign of climate warming, the canary has died. It is time to start getting out of the coal mines."

What do you think will happen if the temperature of our planet plummets? For one thing, our crops are going to begin to fail. The poor will be hit the hardest, initially.

“When all food disappears, modern man will try to correct his mistake, the conditions he caused upon the earth through his inventions. He will try to achieve some kind of method to heal the wound, but this will not be possible when we reach the point of no return.” – Chief Dan Evehema, The Hopi Survival Kit

“For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.” Isaiah 15:6 KJV

“Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.” – Isaiah 50:2 KJV

The year 2012 is not a predicted year for the “end of the world.” There is no such thing as the end of the world. As you can see from the graphs presented, this has happened before, and we can’t blame humanity for the past occurrences. We know for certain that humanity is the culprit this time, and we also know that we are too late to prevent a drastic climate change from taking place. It’s just a matter of time.

This is also not a complete picture of the events ahead of humanity. It is merely one aspect of things to come.
One more thing might be of interest. Now that you know that the oceans were 125 meters lower than they currently are, you might be interested in this topographical map of the Atlantic Ocean. It shows a very likely location for the “Lost Continent of Atlantis;” only it wasn’t a “continent,” it was a series of islands, just like Plato said it was. Look at the depth of the “Azores Plateau.” According to this map, the Atlantic Ocean is a mere 200 meters deep there. It doesn’t take a scientist to figure out where Atlantis was.

Here is another picture of the Azores Plateau. The Dark Orange areas would have been above sea level 12,000 years ago. You can clearly see the inland seas that Plato described. It looks like the only thing he was wrong about was the size of Atlantis.

The next picture shows the islands of the Azores, which correspond to the orange section of the Azores Plateau. (If you look closely at the orange sections above, you can see the white outlines of the islands, which are shown below.)

“But the day will come, if you preserve the memory and meaning of your emergence, when these stepping stones will emerge again to prove the truth you speak." – Hopi Prophecy

The Rapture

There are quite a lot of people in this country and around the world who just had to see the movie, “Left Behind.” It was about an unusual belief that a lot of Christians have regarding what they call the “Rapture.” Even though the belief could be used to define the word ludicrous, otherwise rational people claim to believe that God is going to lift them into Heaven before, in the middle of, or just after what they call “Tribulation.”

When that belief is expanded on, it becomes even more exotic with people believing that they might even disappear to those “left behind,” in one magic moment. Of course, if that happened, we would have quite a lot of death and destruction, as those who were driving cars, or flying planes just vacated their previous occupation. We would also be left without any kind of government, because our politicians are primarily Christian.

“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:18 KJV

There’s a lot of information in that verse, and the last little part of it is completely ignored by those that currently govern our society, because of the “Rapture Belief.”

If we took a poll of the planet’s population, we would find that those who live outside the USA would easily choose us as the most likely nation and people to destroy life on our planet. We would easily choose Russian, or China as the nation most likely to exterminate life on our planet.

It’s human nature to disregard our own shortcomings, even as we look at other people’s shortcomings with judgmental attitudes. Those who don’t learn how to look at their own shortcomings are the ones that get to find out first hand that the “time of the dead” in that verse is talking about them, regardless of their particular religion.

That’s because the person referenced by “thy name,” is further defined in that verse as being the one who would “destroy them which destroy the earth.”

We are a people who are ruled over by ourselves, through elected officials. We ignore scientific evidence that we have created a global crisis with our pollution of virtually everything. We also possess enough military weaponry to kill virtually all life on the planet, supposedly as a deterrent against the use of such on us. Most Christians believe that we have to hold off the evil ones until Jesus Christ comes back to save us, as if there is some “time element” involved in our judgment and his return. Until then, we act as if it doesn’t matter what we do to our future inhabitants’ ability to use our planet after we are gone.

That’s why we don’t care if we destroy the planet with our lifestyle, because Jesus Christ is going to come back and fix it all up and make it all better. According to that particular verse, it does indeed matter. It’s defining the ones who are going to die when the Messiah shows up. It’s also saying that he would be the one destroying them.

That goes completely against the theory that he’s going to magically transport followers of any religion to Heaven, as God takes care of the dirty work on earth. It says that he’s going to destroy those who destroy our planet. He’s not going to raise them up; he’s going to bring them down.

Where do the “prophets” in that verse fit in with the “Rapture?” There are two of them mentioned earlier in the chapter that verse came from. Like Jesus, they were killed and then brought back to life by God, before “they ascended up to heaven in a cloud.”

That could very well be the basis for the belief for the belief in the “Rapture,” yet there is no mention of the church following behind them. Instead, they are described as wearing “sackcloth.” Sackcloth is what extremely poor people used to wear, because they couldn’t buy clothes. They are being described as “poor,” even though you might think that modern prophets should be quite wealthy, like the modern churches’ current leaders.

They are also described as “two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.” If you know that Zechariah also describes two people the same way, you can further understand what this chapter of Revelation, and the two prophets are about.

God is also described, just prior to that warning about our attempt to destroy our planet; “Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.” – Revelation 8:17 KJV

God is defined there, as everything that is, ever has been and everything that will be. You have to take a step “out of the box” of thinking in “real time” to understand that. Real time to a human excludes us of thinking of our past and future as being part of a current existence, even though we know that there really was a past, and really is a future. We separate the two at a junction which we call the “present,” or now. That is how prophecy is possible. In a way, everything has already happened, and we are getting to play our part in this particular passing. We happen to be “right here.” Tomorrow has already happened before, and yesterday will come again.

If that doesn’t boggle your mind, then nothing will. That understanding of our lives and God are also presented as: “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” – Ecclesiastes 1:9 KJV

The author of Ecclesiastes also goes on to tell us that we should learn to just enjoy our work, because there really is nothing else. “Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?” Ecclesiastes 3:22 KJV

The author tells us something else that is quite important to understand, and stop ignoring. “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.” Ecclesiastes 9:10 KJV

When you die, you have no knowledge. That should be an easy thing to understand for modern man, because we know that knowledge is a function of the brain. The brain is a physical aspect of your being. When it goes away, all of your knowledge and wisdom go with it. You don’t get to take the memories of your loved ones with you anywhere, after you die. Therefore, you can’t hook back up with them in Heaven. We are clearly being told there that we have no knowledge when we are dead, and that includes the knowledge of our loved ones.

So how can we expect to live in a place called Heaven, after we are “in the grave?”

We may very well be given another opportunity to live another physical life, as pointed out here: “As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.” – Ecclesiastes 11:5 KJV

Another author from the Bible also tries to help us understand the circle of life cycles. “And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” – Job 1:21

We know that Job had no intention of returning to his current mother’s womb, so we can deduce that he was referring to his next mother’s womb. It’s what we do. Here’s a promise to everyone that has ever read the words. “Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.” – Isaiah 33:17 KJV

Those who learn how to live in harmony with our future, by not destroying our ability to have a physical future, are the ones that are going to be able to live here after “Judgment Day,” when there will be less opportunity to live in the physical because of the “die off” of life on earth. Those who don’t learn that lesson are the ones who are being described here: “And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” – Isaiah 66:24

That is the last line of Isaiah, and it doesn’t include any kind of promise for a life in Heaven. Instead, it promises that people who live through the events predicted would all learn how to worship God, in “the new heavens and the new earth.”

Those who think that they already know how to “worship God” now, obviously have their cart ahead of their horse. They are the same ones that think they have a ticket to Heaven if they happen to destroy the world with their pollution and wars, because of their beliefs. They have in their possession an artificial “gate to Heaven,” which is what the “tower of Babel” represents. Most of them are victims of those who don’t believe in God or in having to pay for what they have done to others, by intentionally misleading them with their religious doctrine, intended only to squeeze their hard earned money from their worn out fingers.

When you put all that together into one complete understanding, it’s easy to figure out who or what modern Babylon is. It’s us. We have become that which we were warned about becoming. It’s part of the plan, handed down through the prophets several thousand years ago. The “Rapture” isn’t a mystical disappearance of people from the planet, but rather a literal disappearance of people from the churches that have misled them for eons. It includes virtually anybody from any religious background that recognizes the Messiah when he arrives, and therefore survives the impending destruction.

Native American prophets knew and explained this. For example, the Hopi Elders call it “Purification Day,” and believe that the Hopi would lead the call of the Messiah, by being the first to actually recognize him as who he is. Those who don’t answer their call, before that time will eliminate their selves from life in the physical, which is exactly what Isaiah said in the last line of his book. Those who die because they won’t listen are willingly giving up their privilege to exist in the physical.
According to the prophets of the Old Testament, the gathering of his people by the Messiah, or the “Rapture” as Christianity calls it, is a slow process that feeds on itself. It reaches its climax just before the climax of destruction. It’s not a “happening in a moment” event, in which the “good Christians” get to sit back and “nah nah da nah nah” those who “get killed back on earth.” When he shows up, he isn’t going to be in agreement with the war being waged by his people, nor is he going to be in agreement with their religious doctrine that led them into the war either. So he isn’t going to be very popular with the moral majority, if this is happening now. He has to burst their little bubble or let them all die. No one likes to get his or her bubbles burst.

Life and All the Host of Heaven

We live in a society that doesn’t understand something that is so simple to understand that even a child can understand it, yet most adults don’t. We are literally killing ourselves because of this misunderstanding.

The misunderstanding comes from the question that we all eventually have, “Where does life come from?” That question leads to,”Where does it go?” The simple answer is to the first question is, “From God,” so the simple answer to the other question is, “Back to God.”

Those two answers lead to yet another question, “What am I doing here now?” That question gets answered a lot of different ways.

If you work through the possible answers to that question, you might think about how many people have lived and died since people started living and dying. Why are you living, right now, as opposed to living back in cave man days? If you answer that, “It’s God’s Will,” then you are probably correct. That leads to yet another question, “Why is it God’s Will that I live now?”

Think about how long time really is.

We know from discovering dinosaur remains that dinosaurs really did live on this planet long ago. We also know that there was a time when nothing lived on this planet. That was quite a long time ago. Where were you back then? If you think that your “inner being/soul” was created when you were born, to live forever “with God,” then you just assume that you hadn’t come into being yet. If you do that though, you are not thinking about something that your religion leaves out of the Bible. God created everything, “in the beginning.” It’s quite a simple understanding from a rational perspective. Simply stated, “If you live “forever,” then you have been alive “forever.”

Imagine your existence without a physical body. What would it be like?
People have pondered this same question, and quite a few of them came to the conclusion that they would spend “forever” “with God,” in “Heaven.” That’s quite a big part of the misunderstanding mentioned above. Those people believe a lie, and the truly ironic part of that misunderstanding is that the ones who led them into that belief, used a book to do it, that warned them against believing it.

There’s no denying that Christians truly believe that when they die, they get to spend eternity with “God in Heaven.” There’s also no denying that they consider Jesus to be the “Lord of Heaven,” who they believe is currently “in Heaven, with God.”

To them, Jesus would be the “host of Heaven.”

We were warned against worshipping the “host of Heaven” in the Old Testament. We were also warned against worshipping the “Lord o Heaven,” “Baal,” in the Old Testament. Those who currently worship either, deny that the prophets told them to worship nothing, but God, “that which grants us life.” They deny it; because they want to continue believing what they have been told by those they trusted. Those they trusted should have been able to understand what they were doing, because they claim to be students of the Bible. The intentionally leave out things that they know are in there, like warnings about worshipping a “host of Heaven.” What is “Jesus,” if he’s not a “host of Heaven?” He is supposedly “hosting Heaven,” for us, just like Johnny Carson used to be the “host” of the Tonight Show.

The “host of Heaven,” is mentioned several times in the Old Testament, and once in the New Testament. There are 19 places where the term is used, and if you read them all with the understanding of what a “host” is, you will easily see that our behavior was predicted.

1. Deuteronomy 4:19
And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

2. Deuteronomy 17:3
And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;

3. 1 Kings 22:19
And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

4. 2 Kings 17:16
And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.

5. 2 Kings 21:3
For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

6. 2 Kings 21:5
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

7. 2 Kings 23:4
And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.

8. 2 Kings 23:5
And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

9. 2 Chronicles 18:18
Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.

10. 2 Chronicles 33:3
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

11. 2 Chronicles 33:5
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

12. Nehemiah 9:6
Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

13. Isaiah 34:4
And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

14. Jeremiah 8:2
And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.

15. Jeremiah 19:13
And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.

16. Jeremiah 33:22
As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

17. Daniel 8:10
And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

18. Zephaniah 1:5
And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

19. Acts 7:42
Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

Christians aren’t the only ones who make the mistake in worshipping fallen heroes and/or prophets. The people of Islam look forward to their “host of Heaven,” Muhammad, who they believe is “in Heaven, with God.” In fact, all religions that don’t accept “reincarnation” as reality are in violation of the warnings given about worshipping “the host of Heaven.”
The bottom line is, we don’t “live in Heaven,” that’s where we go when we are absent of our physical bodies. We live on Earth, when we are blessed with a physical body in which to do so.

And that’s why it is necessary that we take care of our ability to return to Earth and live again, instead of trashing it like we are currently doing, like there is no tomorrow. Guess what, there is always going to be a tomorrow, regardless of whether or not our Earth is capable of letting us enjoy it.

The Temple Mount

It's a small piece of rock, that exposes a big misunderstanding. It's a HUGE part of a prophecy, and its importance to the religious groups who claim its reverence is overwhelming.

A golden dome currently stands out on the rock. The Muslim people completed the building in 691 AD. It was built near the ruins of the supposed second Jewish "Temple of God," which was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans. The only record of the first or second "Temple of God," is from the Bible, and no trace of either has ever been found.

The Jewish people want to build a new temple at that location. Of course the Muslim people don't think too much of that idea. It's a holy shrine to the Muslim people, because it's where Muhammad ascended to Heaven. It's a holy shrine to the Jewish people, because they claim that it's where Jacob saw the "ladder to Heaven." It's a holy shrine to Christian people, because it was where Jesus basically took on the Jewish leaders, by throwing the money changers out of the temple, and began healing people.

The name "Jerusalem" means, "teachings of peace."

Perhaps we'll have to split the child up, so that we can all have a piece?

About Me

Writing control code for automated machinery is my primary method of providing a life for myself. My primary interest isn’t in my professional job though, it is in writing about what I have learned when I applied a simple programming procedure to understanding the Bible. Writing “subroutines,” is a way to store code outside of the main program, or “book,” as you would do it if you applied the procedure to writing a novel, or prophecy.
